With the Wintery start of 2023, we decided to comb through our drone footage library and put together another ambience video. This one titled “Two Minutes of Winter in the Ozarks“, features a montage of the beautiful Winter landscapes in the Ozark Mountains. These shots were filmed over the past few Winters, some as recently as this year. All of the shots were filmed in Newton County, within just a few minutes of Jasper, Arkansas. Filming aerial footage during the Winter months can create a unique set of challenges. Everything from frost and ice accumulating on the drone and camera lens, to shorter flight times and battery complications due to the freezing temperatures.
Several of the shots in the video feature Round Top Mountain, which overlooks the town of Jasper. If you would like to learn more about Round Top Mountain, check out 10 Places to Visit within 5 Minutes of Jasper. Other shots include footage of downtown Jasper and the Little Buffalo River.
