Another Year of Arkansas Drone Work

Ozark Drones Truck Driving Aerial

Another year is nearly in the books, and the past few months have been a blur at Ozark Drones. We’ve had the opportunity to work on some great production projects that offered many unique challenges. One being a nighttime shoot at Silver Dollar City for their Christmas at Midtown event that featured 6.5 million Christmas lights. Lots of logistics and FAA clearances were involved, but the shoot went off without a hitch and yielded some great visuals. Some of which can be seen in Silver Dollar City’s behind the scenes video “The Making of Christmas In Midtown”.

We also had the opportunity to work with a British TV production company in remote Winslow, Arkansas. The shoot featured Robert Runyan, an off-the-grid Ozark craftsman, who builds log cabins with antique hand tools and the help of three mules. The dense forest trees of the isolated locations were a challenge, but that shoot was also a success, showcasing aerials of the Ozark wilderness never seen by a drone before.

At Ozark Drones, we are looking forward to capturing more amazing aerial imagery in 2018!
